Hide Me Among the Graves by Tim Powers

Hide Me Among the Graves (2012) is a great take on vampires set in a very believable mid-19th century England. While not necessarily a sequel, it would be a good idea to read The Stress of Her Regard (1989) first. Set in the early 29 century, it shares the same alternate history with a slightly different viewpoint (and a much younger author).
